Location France, Trenches
Entry Normal artillery activity on both sides. Lt Col R S Salkeld evacuated to hospital sick. Capt H J BENNETT assumed command. Casualties 2 OR killed 2 OR wounded.

Note: Captain H. J. Bennett had only just joined the 2/4th Royal Berkshire regiment from the 2/4th Oxfords on the 19th November 1916.
